Malaysian authorities finally released the results of an autopsy on the body of Zara Qairina Mahathir (13) on Wednesday (13/8/2025).

For information, Zara is a form one student at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama (SMKA) Tun Datu Mustapha Limauan, Papar, Sabah, Malaysia.

Zara was found unconscious around her school dormitory on July 16, 2025. However, he was pronounced dead at the Queen Elizabeth I Hospital the next day.

The victim's mother, Noraidah Lamat, found bruises on Zara's back during the process of embalming the body at the hospital.
